Establishes personal connections to own experiences with a topic, in a sentence such as Je joue au soccer, when discussing a sports theme.

(d)

Identifies pre-listening skills also used in ELA (e.g., Je fais une prédiction. Je fais un lien. Je partage une expérience.).

Selects cognates, familiar words, key thematic words and previously learned expressions for understanding.

(f)
