Investigate a variety of floor plan room sizes for a selected building (e.g., residential building, commercial, recreational, business) to develop an understanding of conceptual design.

Create a conceptual design:

Determine rooms.
For each room, define use of room, size requirements and any special requirements.
Produce bubble diagrams and adjacency matrices to determine circulation patterns and proximity based on functional relationships.
Create preliminary box assemblies of volumes.
Develop conceptual floor plans and elevations.

(c)

Develop a presentation package of a conceptual design.
