analyzing options for house size and orientation on lot;
dividing home into zones (e.g., living; sleeping, cooking and dining spaces);
investigating and applying coordination of exterior design with the surrounding landscape; and,
exploring use and location of various residential construction materials used in the construction of a typical house.
