Outcome
Participate in a work placement experience.
Indicators
(a) Apply relevant skills and abilities during the work placement experience.
(b)

Document one’s experience using electronic and other tools (e.g., vlogs, blogs, log sheets, reflective journals) to summarize and reflect upon items such as:

  • hours of work including breaks;
  • responsibilities and tasks performed;
  • interactions with the employer, staff, customers and others;
  • company or organization’s ‘raison d’être;’ and,
  • skills developed and demonstrated during the work placement that enhance one’s employability.
(c) Document knowledge and awareness of labour standards, safety, workplace ethics, rights and responsibilities, occupational health and safety, and networking observed during the work placement.
