(a) Consider and describe the purpose, target audience and desired outcome of a task or project.
(b)

Develop a plan for a task or project that includes:

  • a brief description of the task or project;
  • the purpose or goal;
  • the desired outcome;
  • the target audience; and,
  • the optimal format of the finished product.
(c) Produce a project according to the plan.
(d)

Demonstrate a logical problem solving approach when difficulties arise while carrying out a task:

  • Identify the problem;
  • Consider or brainstorm solutions;
  • Assess possible options;
  • Choose a solution; and,
  • Implement the solution.
(e) Proofread and critique a product.
(f) Solicit feedback from other interested parties.
(g) Edit and revise a product.
(h) Submit a finished product to its intended audience.
(i) Determine whether or not the desired outcome of the task was achieved.
(j) Reflect on one’s management strategies and their effectiveness in completing a specific task.
