(a) Demonstrate effective project management throughout the project.
(b) Identify the purpose (e.g., application for employment or post-secondary education, archiving achievements, personal memories) of the portfolio.
(c) Present a consistent and appropriate style or personality (e.g., creative, professional, artistic, serious, fun) in the portfolio.
(d)

Showcase an interest, skill or accomplishment such as:

  • technology (e.g., document production, data analysis, photography, video production, animation, website design);
  • academics (e.g., language arts, social sciences, physical sciences, math);
  • sports (e.g., school sports, community sports, personal activities);
  • clubs (e.g., student council, Gay-Straight Alliance, Model United Nations, Students Against Drunk Driving);
  • arts (e.g., drawing, painting, music, dance); and,
  • trades (e.g., welding, automotive, carpentry, agriculture).
(e) Include a variety of content formats (e.g., print documents, charts, graphics, photographs, videos) in the portfolio.
(f) Assemble content into an appropriate digital presentation format (e.g., digital portfolio template tool, electronic book, video, website, multimedia presentation, portable document [PDF] file).
(g) Share the portfolio with others and solicit feedback.
(h) Reflect on the effectiveness of the project in achieving the desired purpose.
