(b) | Investigate the role of plastic in the manufacturing of automobiles. |
(c) | Identify types of plastics by grinding or locating ISO codes in damaged areas before proceeding with plastic repair. |
(d) | Research the range of corrective procedures that may be required to repair plastic. |
(e) | Research, estimate and compare the cost to replace versus to repair plastic components (e.g., bumper repair) in automobile repair. |
(f) | Conduct a plastic repair to, or above, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. |
(g) | Discuss different processes and adhesives (e.g., plastic welding, bonding) to repair damage to plastic components. |
(h) | Investigate trends in plastic use and the potential impact of electric automobiles on plastic consumption. |
