Outcome
Design and carry out an introductory autobody project.
Indicators
(a)

Develop an introductory project considering guidelines such as:

  • generating different project ideas;
  • planning and managing the project including assessment criteria in consultation with the instructor;
  • planning and using drawings with appropriate symbols;
  • determining a procedural sequence;
  • preparing a material list and cost estimate;
  • creating a timeline;
  • determining fabrication techniques;
  • preparing material and set up in the proper sequence;
  • completing each part as specified;
  • interpreting and follow directions;
  • adhering to timelines;
  • working cooperatively;
  • following all safety requirements;
  • following all handling and storing procedures; and,
  • fulfilling cleanup and tool maintenance responsibilities.
(b) Present the completed project and complete a self-assessment based on the project criteria.
