(b) | Practise sewing basic seams (e.g., plain seam, basted seam). |
(c) | Practise sewing basic seam finishes, (e.g., zigzagged, serged, pinked). |
(d) | Demonstrate techniques (e.g., clipping, trimming) used to remove bulk to enhance the appearance of seams. |
(e) | Demonstrate a variety of beginner sewing techniques such as top stitching, applique and casings in the creation of a sewing project. |
(f) | Apply a variety of beginner construction details (e.g., seam finishing, sewing on fasteners, sewing on trims, simple top stitching) in the creation of a sewing project. |
(g) | Practise pressing during sewing (e.g., seams, casings, hems). |
