| (d) | Determine fabric characteristics (e.g., selvage, grainline, nap/one-way design, raw edge, right/wrong side of fabric). |
| (e) | Apply proper pattern layout, pinning and cutting techniques. |
| (f) | Apply simple pattern adjustments (e.g., length, sleeves, tapering). |
