Indicators
(a) Discuss and practise sewing intermediate seams (e.g., flat felled, French seam, serged).
(b) Practise seam finishes (e.g., edge stitched, serged).
(c) Demonstrate a variety of intermediate sewing techniques (e.g., gathering, hemming, constructing pockets) in the creation of a sewing project.
(d) Demonstrate a variety of intermediate construction details (e.g., pleats and tucks, interfacing, sleeves) in the creation of a sewing project.
(e) Apply a variety of intermediate construction details, (e.g., machine buttonholes, zippers, darts, gathering) in the creation of a sewing project.
(f) Practise pressing (e.g., darts, pleats, interfacing) during project construction.
