Investigate how clothing fulfills physical, psychological, social and aesthetic needs.
Indicators
(a) Examine factors that reflect individual choices in apparel (e.g., modesty, protection, culture, price, function).
(b) Explore the relationship between apparel choices and an individual’s culture, lifestyle, resources, needs, wants and values.
(c) Research norms, social cues and messages associated with clothing choices.
