Indicators
(a) Evaluate the life cycle of a garment with consideration to resources (e.g., environmental sustainability, natural/manmade materials) used.
(b) Analyze how clothing fulfils physical, psychological, social and aesthetic needs.
(c) Discuss alternate ways of acquiring clothing such as thrifting, clothing swaps, rentals, altering and creating.
(d) Construct an item (e.g., re-usable sandwich bags, cosmetic pads, food wraps and covers, totes and bags) that promotes waste and plastic reduction by replacing a single use item.
