(b) Respond to the inquiry question, how are elements of art and principles of design in hair reflective of time, culture and societal influences?
(c) Critique examples of hair (e.g., ‘the Rachel’ hairstyle, Elvis Presley’s pompadour, Twiggy’s pixie cut, gender expression) that were influenced by historical art styles or pop culture movements.
(d) Critique examples of hair (e.g., renaissance braids, sixties long hair, WWI bobs that were easier to manage, Japanese geisha hairstyles) that were influenced by social, cultural, geographical and environmental contexts.
