(b) | Summarize factors that affect hair growth such as age, nutrition, health and hormones. |
(c) | Determine hair texture (e.g., fine, medium, coarse, kinky and curl pattern) and characteristics such as weight, shape, elasticity, porosity, density and growth patterns. |
(d) | Explore techniques (e.g., stretch single hair, feel hair with hands) used to determine elasticity and porosity. |
(e) | Recognize effects on hair exhibiting a lack of moisture or protein. |
(f) | Perform hair analysis and recommend products for maintenance, optimal health and condition of hair. |
