Indicators
(a) | Recognize safe and sanitary practices throughout hairstyling competition. |
(b) | Practise using long hairstyling advanced design terms, techniques, varied tools, equipment, product and safety within a timeline and/or specific criteria. |
(c) | Apply colouring terms, techniques, varied tools, equipment, product and safety within a time line and/or specified guideline. |
(d) | Implement a combination of advanced styling and cutting terms, design elements, use of tools, equipment, product and safety within a time line and/or specific guideline. |
(e) | Apply chemical waving terms, design, techniques, tools, preparation, procedure and safety within a time line and/or specific criteria. |
(f) | Produce competitive design(s) within a set of regulated guidelines and within the required timeline. |
(g) | Compare competition test posted on Skills Canada website to judging criteria. |
(h) | Interpret and apply competition scope document and rules and regulations. |
(i) | Describe own decision making and problem-solving processes used during competition and reflect on the effectiveness of choices made. |
