Module 47: Brow Shaping (Optional)

Prerequisite: None

Outcome

Execute a brow shaping service that suits the frame of the face.

Indicators

(a)	Complete and discuss client consultation form for brow shaping service.
(b)	Identify contraindications.
(c)	Analyze brow shape.
(d)	Discuss and apply eyebrow shaping guidelines to best determine shape.
(e)	Cleanse area and apply powder if needed.
(f)	Observe qualified technicians (e.g., video and/or in person) perform a brow shaping service.
(g)	Examine and apply appropriate wax techniques and procedures (e.g., apply wax at 45° angle, pull skin taught, remove wax in swift motion parallel to skin, tweeze if needed and remove any residue).
(h)	Apply post wax lotion.
