(a) Comprehend a series of fluently signed simple sentences in familiar contexts such as social life or cultural traditions.
(b) Apply understanding of how the relationships between common handshapes, movement and location of signs can be used to make different meanings to interpret texts.
(c) Examine the use of register to recognize formal or informal communication.
(d) View and understand, in guided and unguided situations, a variety of visuals and other media and communication forms to aid in signing comprehension.
(e) Justify individual differences in signing due to culture or language variations, including Plains Indian Sign Language, Langue des Signes Québécoise (LSQ) and Black American Sign Language.
