Outcome
Examine entrepreneurial opportunities at home, at school and in the community.
Indicators
| (a) | Describe an entrepreneurial opportunity (i.e., a need, a want or a problem that needs to be solved). |
| (b) | Discuss the view that change causes entrepreneurial opportunities and that entrepreneurial opportunities cause change. |
| (c) | List potential sources of entrepreneurial opportunities (e.g., technological change, changing demographics, shortages, surpluses and shifts in demand). |
| (d) | Assess the impact of PESTLE factors (i.e., political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental) on entrepreneurial opportunities. |
| (e) | Differentiate between a trend and a fad and their impacts on entrepreneurial opportunities. |
| (f) | Propose ways (e.g., being optimistic, accepting challenges, searching for opportunities and researching) that entrepreneurs discover and take advantage of opportunities. |
| (g) | Differentiate between an opportunity (i.e., the problem) and an idea (i.e., a potential solution). |
| (h) | Identify potential entrepreneurial opportunities at home, at school and in the community. |
