Indicators
(a) | Explain the function and importance of human resource management within a business. |
(b) | Research factors (e.g., the number of employees required currently and in the next few years, training that will be provided, job requirements/descriptions, and how and how much employees will be paid) to be considered in a human resources plan. |
(c) | Research the potential impact of generational and cultural gaps within Saskatchewan workplaces. |
(d) | Strategize ways to effectively manage generational and cultural gaps within the workplace. |
(e) | Identify sources (e.g., referrals from friends and employees, hiring from within, employment agencies and social media platforms) for recruiting potential employees. |
(f) | Conduct an inquiry into the processes commonly used by employers to attract, screen and hire employees. |
(g) | Assess Saskatchewan and Canadian laws that govern workplace standards pertaining, but not limited, to workplace safety, anti-discrimination, harassment, accessibility and environmental responsibility. |
