(a) Use gestures such as the Plains Sign Language that accompany play.
(b) Use expressions and phrases for informal conversation in cooperative groups.
(c) Give instructions in a polite way according to conventions of Nakoda and community.
(d) Recognize gestures and expressions that accompany requests from friends, adults and unfamiliar adults.
(e) Express basic personal emotions and moods.
(f) Prepare in groups, topics that will be discussed and questions that can be asked when Elders are present to share their knowledge.
(g) Maintain a simple conversation, with support, with another speaker and use appropriate register.
(h) Prepare an event following the order of a ceremony and recognize placement of participants.
