Assess personal strengths and needs within the development of language learning as they relate to family, community and land and set goals for future improvement, with guidance.
Indicators for this outcome
(a) Use the strategies appropriate for a given task and situation.
(b) Reflect on speaking, listening, representing and viewing experiences.
(c) Assess use of language and selected strategies and revise personal goals to enhance language learning.
(d) Generate and use criteria to self-assess and set goals for improvement as a speaker, presenter, viewer and listener.
(e) Appraise own and others’ work for clarity.
(f) Identify and analyze effectiveness of a variety of language strategies.
(g) State appropriate and achievable improvement goals based on self-analysis.
(h) Choose and apply strategies appropriate to improvement goals and reflect on progress in achieving those goals.
