Outcome
Implement the creative design process for a given scenario.
Indicators
(a) Describe the creative design process, including the difference between art and design.
(b) Examine different situations that may require steps in a design process to be repeated or revisited.
(c) Apply the creative design process to a given situation or need, such as the creation of:
  • an advertising campaign using visual media;
  • a book cover for a novel;
  • a cover for a music album;
  • a poster advertising a film; or,
  • a brand or product logo.
(d) Elicit critique from peers, industry experts and/or community members using appropriate terminology from the design process.
(e) Refine the design, incorporating information gathered from feedback.
