(a)	Select an industrial design project of interest to be improved.
(b)	Create a design improvement plan document outlining: the nature of the project or product to be improved; the reasons or need for improvement of the product or project; the design principles and elements to be addressed in the product or project improvement; and, the aspects of the design improvement that will require material cost estimation.
(c)	Solicit feedback and critique on the design improvement plan.
(d)	Adjust the improvement plan to reflect applicable feedback.
(e)	Develop an implementation strategy for improvement of the selected industrial design.
