(a) Describe the lives and contributions of Canadian German-speakers (e.g., John Diefenbaker).
(b)

Explore the influence of German culture on Canadian society, including:

  • food and drink;
  • traditional and contemporary clothing; and,
  • traditions, celebrations and holidays.
(c)

Inquire about German-speaking culture and heritage (e.g., the arts, celebrations, community, traditions, language, history and food) in Canada by:

  • reading, listening to or viewing tourist information or facts about German-speaking Canadian communities;
  • researching Canadian organizations, events and festivals; and,
  • exploring German-speaking communities in Canada.
