Outcome
Investigate the
processes involved in
planning for exploration
of natural resources in
Saskatchewan.
Indicators
(a) | Investigate the differences in permits (e.g., environmental, exploration and seismic), land permission, First Nations and Métis consultation and accommodations and not disturbing historic land (e.g., former settlements) that are required to explore for different natural resources (e.g., coal, potash, petroleum and uranium). |
(b) | Explore the impact of duty to consult on both Indigenous peoples and resource industry stakeholders. |
