(a)	Plan an excursion into an area of the boreal forest in Saskatchewan, considering terrain, conditions, wildlife and habitat.
(b)	Research the excursion area by consulting maps, local experts, guidebooks, photographs and weather patterns.
(c)	Collect information about a topic within forestry (e.g., treaty education, reforestation, harvesting, wildlife, mapping and forest fires) as it applies to the location being visited or studied.
(d)	Complete a planned excursion to compare collected information on a topic in forestry.
(e)	Reflect on a personal experience in an area within forestry studies (e.g., harvesting, reforestation, climate change, sustainability, treaty education and land-based education).
