(a)	Discuss the importance of strong cordage and efficient knot skills in Indigenous ways of living off the land.

(c)	Experiment with the craft of rope making, including: preparing fibres (e.g., hemp, stinging nettle and animal hair) for spinning into yarns; spinning yarns into cords; twisting cords into strands; and, twisting strands into rope.
