| (a) | Identify common machine shop hand tools (e.g., files, hacksaw, ball peen hammer, chisel and screwdriver). |
| (b) | Demonstrate safe work practices when working with hand tools and equipment including the use of PPE recommended by the tool manufacturer. |
| (c) | Maintain a clean and organized work area. |
| (d) | Assess and mitigate risks related to the use of hand tools. |
| (e) | Demonstrate the selection and use of the correct tool for a specific task. |
| (f) | Inspect tools for damage and tag for repair as instructed by a supervisor. |
