Indicators
(a)

Examine the roles and responsibilities of various levels of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) including:

  • dispatcher;
  • emergency medical responder;
  • primary care paramedic;
  • advanced care paramedic;
  • critical care paramedic;
  • community paramedic; and,
  • first aid instructor.
(b) Research admission requirements for dispatcher, EMS, paramedic and first responder programs in Saskatchewan.
(c) Describe the differences in the roles and responsibilities of emergency medical responders, primary care paramedics, intermediate care paramedics, advanced care paramedics and critical care paramedics in Saskatchewan.
(d)

Research the certifications EMS personnel are required to attain in Saskatchewan, such as:

  • Transfer Lifting Repositions (TLR);
  • First Aid/CPR Level C; and,
