(a) Define spiritual gifts such as those identified in 1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, Ephesians 4, 1 Peter 4:10, and Paul in prison.
(b) Discover why all Christian denominations adopt the concept of spiritual gifts.
(c) Identify how Scripture might guide values in creating a positive impact on self and others.
(d) Differentiate between figurative interpretation and literal interpretation of the Bible.
(e)

Analyze how various interpretations of the Bible interpret values regarding:

  • gender and sexual diversity;
  • equality of humans of different racial groups;
  • poverty and economic well-being;
  • the definition of family;
  • the importance of family;
  • the role of work;
  • treatment of those who hold different religious beliefs; and,
  • the value of each human life.
(f) Describe how Christianity can influence and challenge the process of reconciliation by the church with Indigenous peoples.
