Steps in Time II: Métis Dance and Instruction features new content plus the original content of Steps in Time. The first volume of Steps in Time teaches three Métis dances: Duck Dance, Fancy Jig and Rabbit Dance. These dances are combinations of several steps which are demonstrated clearly. Steps in Time can be used independently or in conjunction with Métis Dances Kit: Kindergarten to Grade 9 (that is also recommended).
Steps in Time II focuses on teaching the Red River Jig and square dancing moves and holds, as well as two square dances: the Quadrille and la danse du crochet. It also features an interview with Jeanne Pellitier who discusses her history as a dance instructor and caller and why dance is important.

Métis Jigging Part 2. Grades 1 & 2
Krystle Pederson is a traditional jigger and Métis dance instructor. In Métis Jigging Part 2, Krystle talks about different styles of fiddle music and how jigging steps are incorporated into other styles of dance. Through demonstrations and practise, students build on the skills and knowledge gained in Part 1. Krystle introduces new jigging steps with an emphasis on travelling and working with a partner. She also demonstrates and shares her belief in the importance of community and working together.
