(a)	Discuss the importance of tourism to the local community and surrounding area.
(b)	Research the connection and relationship of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples to the land in the local community and the surrounding area and the resulting impact on tourism.
(c)	Describe the local area, including ecosystems, landscape, climate, history, culture and people and their relationship to tourism.
(d)	Brainstorm reasons why tourists visit the local community and surrounding area.
(e)	Discuss common characteristics (e.g., families with young children, hunters, sports enthusiasts, adults, artisans, Saskatchewan residents and residents from other provinces or countries) of tourists who typically visit the local community and surrounding area.
(f)	Construct plans (i.e., for one and several days) for being a tourist within the local community and surrounding area, referencing all five industries in the tourism sector.
