(b) | Classify examples of accommodation within the community and surrounding area and/or province according to the accommodation types. |
(c) | Explain the interrelatedness among the accommodation and other tourism industries. |
(d) | Examine factors (e.g., ratings, purpose of travel, previous experiences— both positive and negative, price, location, accessibility and amenities) that influence an individual’s choice for accommodation. |
(e) | Identify trends (e.g., sharing economy and self-service options) that may impact the accommodation industry. |
(f) | Discuss the impact (e.g., economic and other) of unforeseen events such as a global pandemic, natural disaster (e.g., earthquake or tornado) or man- made catastrophe (e.g., 9/11) on the accommodation industry. |
