(a) List examples of the types of opportunities (e.g., attractions, museums, art galleries, sporting events, adventure tourism, nature-based tourism, outdoor/indoor recreation, festivals, cultural events, sporting events and dramatic/musical performances) within the recreation and entertainment industry.
(b) Identify examples of the recreation and entertainment industry within the local community and/or province.
(c) Examine the interrelatedness among the recreation and entertainment industry and other tourism industries.
(d) Explain factors (e.g., cost, location, length and accessibility) that influence an individual’s choice to participate in recreation and entertainment opportunities.
