Outcome
Create a marketing campaign for a tourism opportunity within the school or local community.
Indicators
(a) Identify new or existing tourism opportunities in one or more of the five industries (i.e., food and beverage, accommodation, recreation and entertainment, transportation, and travel services) within the community.
(b) Analyze the pros and cons of various opportunities to determine the best option(s) for a class or group project.
(c) Create and present a marketing campaign which uses the 5 Ps (i.e., product, place, price, promotion, partnership and packaging) and C (convenience) of the tourism marketing mix.
