Create a marketing
campaign for a
tourism opportunity
within the school or
local community.
Indicators
(a) | Identify new or existing tourism opportunities in one or more of the five industries (i.e., food and beverage, accommodation, recreation and entertainment, transportation, and travel services) within the community. |
(b) | Analyze the pros and cons of various opportunities to determine the best option(s) for a class or group project. |
(c) | Create and present a marketing campaign which uses the 5 Ps (i.e., product, place, price, promotion, partnership and packaging) and C (convenience) of the tourism marketing mix. |
