| (a) | Investigate various modes of communication (e.g., verbal, non-verbal, electronic, written). |
| (b) | Model possible steps and information required for communication scenarios such as booking an appointment, requesting a service or filing a complaint. |
| (c) | Identify appropriate communication methods (e.g., telephone, text, email, instant message, in-person discussion) for various purposes and audiences. |
| (d) | Practise appropriate ways to greet and speak with others (e.g., First Nations and Métis Elders and Knowledge Keepers, colleagues, people from various cultures). |
| (e) | Experiment with ways to appropriately represent oneself in a variety of modes of communication (e.g., social media, written correspondence, telephone, in-person). |
| (f) | Create a calendar that includes details of events (e.g., daily tasks, scheduled appointments, social events) for organization and management of time to be shared with family, teammates or colleagues. |
