| (c) | Explain and reflect on how sets can create environments for dramatic work (e.g., realistic versus suggested set). |
| (d) | Research and examine the creation of illusions (e.g., projections, transformational set pieces, revolves). |
| (e) | Explore ways that a set design can be rendered using hand skills and digital technologies. |
| (f) | Discuss the importance of researching and honouring the cultural significance of items (e.g., art, furniture, symbols) before incorporating them into set design. |
| (g) | Examine strategies for identifying protocols and processes concerning the representation or use of culturally-sacred items in set design. |
| (h) | Examine the stage and/or set requirements of a selected play or scene and propose ways to create the environment. |
