(c) Experiment with finishes (e.g., patinas, aging, distressing) on various surfaces.
(d) Experiment with carving materials (e.g., two-part foam, styrofoam, floral foam) and tools (e.g., files, hand rasp, knives, found objectives, sand paper).
(e) Create a carved project (e.g., bas relief, column, statue, water fountain) that includes the steps of preparing the surface, painting and finishing.
(f) Demonstrate collaboration with director and design team (e.g., set, lighting and costume designers).
(g) Explore ways that light affects paint (e.g., blue light on yellow paint turns green).
