(a) |
Discuss functions of sound design, such as:

(b) | Experiment with basic recording and playback sound systems, including analog and digital systems, and explore controllable properties such as pitch, volume, quality, direction and duration. |
(c) | Research and explore fundamentals of stage sound and video in theatre. |
(d) | Create and find sources for sound effects. |
(e) | Discuss and examine ways of organizing sound (e.g., plot, cue sheets) for stage productions or events. |
(f) | Follow a sound script. |
(g) | Identify and practise safety precautions and procedures when working with stage sound and video. |
(h) | Create an inspirational sound bank of designs that demonstrate selected functions of sound in theatre. |
