Module 21B: Production Project Preparation B (Optional)
Outcome
Demonstrate independence in preparing for one or more team member roles in a theatrical production project.
Indicators
(a) Determine personal interests, experiences and other factors that may affect how one could contribute to a theatrical production project.
(b) Review tasks required of design and production team members (e.g., stage, lighting, sound, set construction, set painting, properties, wardrobe, makeup or box office crew) for a school or community production.
(c) Participate in a simulation activity for production project tasks and create a theatre log in which to record tasks.
(d) Discuss the role of verbal and non-verbal communication during work- related projects and consider ways both communication methods may be interpreted or misinterpreted on the job.
(e) Select or agree to assume production team tasks and demonstrate collaborative and leadership abilities in planning and production of a theatre arts project.
(f) Demonstrate communication skills and organizational abilities in planning for a production project.
