theatrical production

Indicators
| (a) | Present a proposal for assuming a role as a department coordinator or team leader for a theatrical production project. |
| (b) | Review the roles and responsibilities of various department heads, co- ordinators and team members to determine various collaborative processes required. |
| (c) | Attend all production team meetings and demonstrate leadership and innovative thinking throughout the project. |
| (d) | Generate and develop ideas in one’s production team area. |
| (e) | Create a vision board or use another method to record, reflect on and imagine ideas for the production. |
| (f) | Collaborate with others to bring production ideas to reality. |
| (g) | Document ideas and processes used during the production. |
| (h) | Explore directors’ and/or designers’ toolboxes (e.g., communication of vision, interpretation of oral or written text, analysis and planning, creating a rehearsal plan) for artistic and technical purposes. |
| (i) | Reinterpret or imagine a scene or dramatic work through innovative use of various theatrical toolboxes (e.g., director, designer, actor). |
| (j) | Use a specific technical component (e.g., light, costume, sound, digital technologies) for symbolic purposes as a mode for communicating ideas. |
| (k) | Apply organizational and collaborative skills. |
| (l) | Analyze decisions made by various roles (e.g., director, actor, designer) to achieve intent. |
| (m) | Reflect on own work, including successes and opportunities for improvement, during planning, production and post-production review. |
| (n) | Develop or update a resume and/or portfolio highlighting theatre arts experiences, knowledge and skills. |
