- nutrition (e.g., kind of feed, feed rations and days on pasture);
- animal management (e.g., sick or injured animals, medication
records and daily checks);
- financial management (e.g., inventory, markets, customers, prices,
sales, shipments and purchases); and,
- risk management (e.g., retention of cattle and types of insurance).
