(a)	Define ethical values and responsibilities.
(b)	Differentiate between personal ethics and professional ethics.
(c)	Examine a code of ethics for a profession or practice related to health care and/or early learning.
(d)	Identify situations with legal implications that could arise in health care and/or early learning environments, such as: actions that are criminal or quasi criminal; actions that breach a legal contract; actions or information indicating there are reasonable grounds to believe that a child or a vulnerable adult is in need of protection; actions that are discriminatory; actions that constitute harassment; and, actions that could constitute negligence.
(e)	Outline the professional and legal consequences and penalties for violating professional standards and ethics in health care and/or early learning environments.
(f)	Examine steps to take when professional standards and code of ethics have been violated.
