Outcome

Investigate opportunities for small businesses, including home-based businesses, in the early learning and health care industry in Saskatchewan.

Indicators

(a)	Research the contributions that small businesses make to the local and Saskatchewan economy.
(b)	Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of operating a small business, including a home-based business.
(c)	Investigate the advantages and disadvantages of owning a sole proprietorship, partnership and/or franchise business.
(d)	Outline and present a plan for a small business in the early learning and health care industry in one’s community.
(e)	Provide feedback on own and/or peer business plans.
