Don't Risk Your Life
Don't Risk Your Life is a short educational drama that helps to educate young people about their rights and responsibilities in the workplace. Young people tell their personal experiences of being injured on the job. Family members share their stories of having lost a loved one. New workers and employers know that it takes more than a job to be ready for work. This program emphasizes the three R's of the Ready for Work program: 1. The right to know about the hazards of your job. 2. The right to participate in health and safety in the workplace. 3. The right to refuse work that you believe to be unusually dangerous to yourself and others. Viewers are encouraged to practice safe work habits on the job and understand their rights as an employee to promote safety and prevent accidents in the workplace.
